Some men see things as they are and ask why? We dream things that never were and say Why Not?

NM Elite Firearms & Training is a local company located in Las Vegas, New Mexico.  We are a small, super-excited firearms training company with a combined 18 years in law enforcement and over 30 years of training experience in various fields.  We strive to bring you cost-efficient, effective and high-quality professional training.

In 2008, after 18 years of retail management, I chose to continue my work with the community where I finally decided to call my home.  I was recruited by my local police department and began a career in law enforcement.  During my eight years, I found myself doing what I did for the better part of 18 years in management, training.  I became certified in several areas where I had the opportunity to train members of my new family in firearms, standardized field sobriety testing, and as a field training officer.

In 2010, I wrote a field training manual for my department in an effort to build a better, stronger, field training program.  I had the opportunity to train several officers who went on to become great officers.  In 2016 I suffered an injury which would keep me on the sidelines for what seemed eternity.  It soon became apparent the injury would get the better of me and I had to consider the possibility of a career ending injury.  It was at this time, the idea of NM Elite Firearms & Training was born.

NM Elite Firearms & Training was created with the vision of pursuing my passion in training.  With all the certifications I had obtained over my career, I found the idea to continue working with those who, not only helped train me to become a good officer, but to encourage the passion I had for training.  With this, I am determined to help train other officers in this often misunderstood profession, to remain diligent in their daily duties and to empower them with the knowledge they may need to remain safe.  It is with these visions and my passion to teach, I will continue to work with those I have grown to call my brothers and sisters.
